The Doctor Blake Mysteries 

 A few years ago I discovered some wonderful Australian TV shows and I immediately fell in love with Australia.  My favorite Australian TV show is The Doctor Blake  Mysteries  set  in 1959 Ballarat,  Australia,   it is the story of Lucien Blake who returns to Ballarat to take over his deceased father’s medical practice. He is also the police surgeon who solves crimes. Lucien is a fantastic character, brilliant, flawed and charismatic.  With a fantastic cast led by the multi-talented Craig McLachlan, this is a not to be missed TV series.
